Our mission at Evolution Bike Shop (EBS) is to offer the best possible value to our customers. While this does include very competitive pricing, it goes far beyond that. Value, for us, starts at the door; whether greeting a new customer or receiving inventory, we strive to provide the highest level of service for both our customers and our inventory.

We attend classes and tech seminars to keep up to date on an evolving bicycle industry and to learn what’s around the corner. We use our knowledge to help you decide what bike or new set of tires best suits your particular needs or desires. Whether we are installing a new drive train, doing suspension work, building a wheel, or pro-building a new bike (even the kids’ bikes) we choose to do it with the highest quality in mind. While we are passionate about the quality of our technical work, we also understand the importance of making the best possible fit of bike to rider.

To ensure the value of your visit with us, we will start by trying to understand what riding experience you are looking for. We will spend time ensuring that you have a perfect fit for your bike, as well as a firm understanding of how it works. We will also follow up all bike sales with 90 days free service, including one full tune-up.

We also add value to your experience by introducing you to activities outside of our doors that support the local cycling community. We support local teams like the Santa Cruz Junior Syndicate Team as well as work with organizations like ROMP and IMBA to improve trail access and upkeep for our local trails.
